Snow Day

This week we had two snow days off of work for mom so naturally we had to make homemade cookies! That is what my mom always did with my sister and I when we had snow days as kids so I had to pass it on! Hadley liked this part the best....

Ellie comes to visit

We were fortunate enough to visit with Ellie and her parents over the holidays. It was so cute to see the girls together. Harper and Ellie hadn't seen each other since Harper was one day old!

Christmas

I am a serious failure this year for Christmas in the picture department. Everything I have heard is true once you have more than one child. There is so much going on, that snapping pics is a last thought. I am embarrassed by the lack of pics I have from Christmas. Here are a couple.

Endings and new beginnings....

Wednesday was Hadley's last day at the preschool she has been attending for the last year. She will begin a new preschool after Christmas break. It is a long story, that in light of the spirit of the holidays, I won't retell as it is insanely frustrating. However, the reason she is switching has nothing to do with the most wonderful teacher that she has had for the last year, Mrs. Neimeyer. Hadley ADORES her and Mrs. Neimeyer is a big fan of Hadley's. Here they are together on Hadley's last day....

Crown

Hadley put a crown on Harper the other night, we found it hilarious...

Loves his girls....

First time Ice Skating

We took Hadley for her first try at ice skating last weekend. She wasn't too sure about it, but spent a lot of time getting used to walking with skates on. We were just proud of her for trying

First school Xmas program

Last night was Hadley's first school Christmas program. It was really cute. We had heard the songs the weeks leading up to the program as Hadley liked to practice them a lot. Last night, she was a bit "deer caught in headlights" during the actual performance, but did a great job. She told us later, "mom and dad, I didn't like all those people looking at me while I was supposed to sing." We are so proud of her.

Reading...

Hadley loves to read to her little sister. Well, correction, Hadley loves to do anything with her little sister. She is such a good big sister. She loves to make Harper laugh, keep her happy when mom is busy, etc. She is a great helper.

St. Nick's night

Hello World...

Hadley loves to climb up Papa and sit on his shoulder. They yell "hello world"

The Polar Express

Last weekend we headed to appleton to visit Mimi and Papa. While there, we headed to the Green Bay Railway Museum for the Polar Express experience. It was really fun. The girls wore their jammies, we heard the story, read hot chocolate, and rode on the train. It was a cute experience.
