Melanie
Jill's best friend from high school was in town over the holidays so we stopped by her parents house to see her. It was great to catch up!

Christmas #1
We just got back today from celebrating Christmas in Appleton with Mimi and Papa, it was lots of fun!
Reading the Night Before Christmas with Papa
Playing computer games on Mimi's computer
Playing outside with Auntie Lulu and daddy
Daddy riding the sled behind Papa's tractor
Hadley and Mama, it was COLD!

Snowday
Last friday mom had a snow day at school so Hadley and she got to play all day! The first two pictures are of Hadley drinking out of her special cup. A co worker of mine gave me this great cup that lights up when you put liquid in it, Hadley LOVES it! The last picture is of Hadley "grocery shopping".

Nuk
So I had been planning on breaking Hadley of the pacifier over Christmas break. I figured why not? I have two weeks off and she is almost two and she has only been using it to sleep for a long time now, it's probably time. Then tonight we are doing our nightly routine and she usually picks one out from the pile of them on her dresser before bed. She picks one up, puts it in her mouth and then takes it out and gives it to me. She proceeds to say, "big girls don't need NUKS". Alrighty then, decision made, no more NUK!!! We'll see how it continues to go, but for tonight she went to bed with no problem, hope it stays that easy!!!

Decorating the tree
getting a little help from dad
The finished product
Last year we decorated the tree while Hadley was sleeping because she was too little to help and we just figured it would be easier. This year she was very excited to help and while she needed some help getting the ornaments to stay on the branch, she was a great helper!
