Each milestone that passes us by leaves Mike and I wondering where the time has gone. We know it's a cliche, but there is a reason for it. It just goes so quickly! We enjoyed watching H today. The show the kids put on was adorable. She participated, smiled, and was proud to be there. When the teacher announced that they had been talking a lot lately about dreams, H proudly stated to the whole room that she is the only one who wants to be a fashion designer. The day ended with her teacher talking to us about how great she is, how far she has come and how intelligent she is. What parent wouldn't be proud. As our eyes teared up, we hugged our girl and got ready to hit the next milestone... Off to kindergarten next fall.
Last weekend, mom's best friend from high school, Melanie came into town with her little girl. We had a blast with them at Bookworm Gardens. Such an awesome place.
We aren't quite sure how it happened, but two years have already passed since our sweet little Harper came into our world. She is so amazingly sweet, funny and smart. Not a day goes by that we aren't completely grateful for all she brings to our lives. We love you sweet girl.
H started t-ball for the first time. She is on the Tigers team. She really likes it so far! She does a really good job of paying attention, watching the ball, etc.
I had a great Mother's Day yesterday. I am so lucky to be the mom of two wonderful girls. Today I was able to take a personal day and attend "muffins with mom" at Hadley's school. It was wonderful. The kids gave us a card and gift, a massage and sang us a song. The weather was perfect today and I had a blast hanging outside all day with both my girls. Made me really excited for summer to come so I can spend some quality time with my girls!
The girls were thrilled that we finally got to play outside in warm weather tonight with no jackets and short sleeves! That and the fact that we could put water in the sand and water table and they were elated!
